This is roughly what fashion means from dictionary.com.

To my understanding, fashion is an expression and a way of life. It is the way you redeem yourself to public to let out what you feel or think. To think what to where, how to wear and where to, are exact questions why we dress everyday. Many women and girls may find it difficult at times to dress everyday. Some will dress to impress, some will dress just for the sake of not being naked, and some will dress for their religion.
Women and girls get aids from all sorts to help them dress everyday e.g blogs, social media sites such as tumblr, pinterest etc, magazines, newspapers and most commonly, peer influence.

In common texts, fashion basically means anything. It can mean wearing anything as long as you are confident in what you are wearing.
But, I have found some meanings of dressing up for religion.

Amongst the muslim women, we see them as fully covered. Yes, this is due to their religion.
"..A muslim woman should draw their coverage to the bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands and their fathers... " ( Quran 24:30-31) These are the exact statement taken from the holy book of Islam. Therefore, with this, it is not only a requirement, but a form of respect and dignity to themselves. When I was in religious class some time ago, my teacher told me, a muslim woman should not lavishly show their assets openly as it will invite sins by men.
Modern muslim women now have combined fashion sense to their religion which is a revolution.
Hijab is a way of life plus an expression. It is a necessity for women to don the hijab which is stated in the Quran but however, hijab also comes with responsibility.
In search for my inspiration for hijab, I have found a few images that will help modern women find hijab a very fashionable and chic headgear to don on. With covering up for religion and style, now who doesn't want to wear a hijab?.
