True life.
It's a wonder how something can grow from inside of a woman's body.
Child birth was beyond words. It was a lie if I tell you the pain wasn't bad. Going through this was just unimaginable. It was hard and truthfully, I was scared when my gynae told me my cervix was low and my bp(blood pressure) was high, and that I needed to be induced if nothing happens in 24 hours. It took me and F completely by surprise as we expected our lil bambina to arrive within the next week or the week after next.
After 5 hours of unexplainable pain and continuous gas inhalation after being induced,I managed to push out a 2.98kg babygirl by the name of Adrianna. Everything was vague at the last hour before giving birth and I was in a daze after inhaling too much gas. But for all that is worth, I am relieved and I have learnt to be more appreciative,of mums especially. Mums go through a phase between life and death to give birth to every one of us and on 11 March 2014, I experienced exactly what my mum did. And it was amazing. Painful, but amazing.
Today, my girl is growing steadily, alhamdullilah. Yes, we had our fair share of sleepless nights and continuous crying. And me, endless post-natal blues. But F and me took it all slowly and we knew, everything was worth it at the end of the day when we see our lil girl's face. She's a gem and I would give the world to her if I can, but for now Allah is all I can thank for, for bringing this wonderful little person to us. Syukur alhamdullilah, we are truly blessed
