The fitter

So, another month and after a long hiatus, I have decided to get back on the blogging wagon.
On a recent reflection upon myself,i withered. I looked at myself in the mirror and totally lost it. Where was my motivation? Where did I go wrong? I was no longer the "fitter" self I was before. Plus, my motivation ran away leaving behind food cravings and bumming around which was a failure and an utter disappointment.
With that I am on the road again to regain my motivation and strength to becoming a robust being. And I am lucky, I have a partner who is going through a similar phase to mine. Although F has always been the "better " partner, he is prepping for yet another competitive event.  I must say, having your other half with you in this is like wholesome support.

So, diet started 2 days ago and activities, just yesterday. I can almost feel my whole  body weight crashing on me while running yesterday. It's proven. My stamina has gone down to a mere zero.
But, it does not keep me from going further, better and stronger. I have started keeping track of my calorie intake for each meal and slowly got back on the tracks with bambina. Amazingly, just after 2 days, I feel whole. I just have to keep this diet up and put in an extra effort to getting back in shape.

Therefore, I have compiled some things that might help me just in case I begin to slack off again. Here are some of my kick-start(s):

1) Wake up and pray at dawn.
What better way to start your morning early by having a little solo moment with your creator.

2) Drink lemon water.
Warm lemon water actually boosts your digestive system as it is antioxidant and clears your bowels in the mornings.

3) Take more effort in your breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it actually determines your food intake through the day. Be it eggs or oatmeal or fruits, put a little more heart to it and you will enjoy it even more.

4) Start off your day with a positive mind.
Our mind works as such, if you think something's good is going to happen, then something good is going to happen and not otherwise.

5) Plan your day and make small goals.
Whether it's your dietary needs, your lunch breaks or your exercises, it is good to plan ahead and make possible mini goals that is easy to achieve. E.g "I an going to drink 3.5 litres of water today"  and keep to it.

Other than that, always start your day with bismillah and end it always with alhamdullilah.

Healthy bodies, happy heart.
