Week 3

3 weeks have passed and everyday is a learning journey for me. Having 2 children is such a blessing for both Fyi and me. We are more than grateful to be given this opportunity to have 2 adorable souls in our lives. 

Although, not everday is a bed of roses. 

Having to be under confinement, I get to observe and experience what being at home all the time feels like. 

Taking care of Iman have been a breeze so far. She is easy and very adaptable. Feeding a 3-hourly pattern was a brilliant suggestion made by a close relative, kept my sanity. I must say that this time, Alhamdullilah, me and Fyi have managed well compared to when we had Adrianna previously. Yes, I guess experience does count when it comes this. 

Adrianna, on the other hand has been a handful. Being a 2 year old child, she is constantly craving for attention, inquisitive, curious and playful.  It is a challenging time because we have to teach her the rights from the wrongs and disciplining. Adrianna, like any other 2yo is strong willed and very brave. I, having to watch countless episodes of SUPERNANNY tries to instill tactics to discipline her. It was tough at first but me,Fyi and my mum take it by the day. Everyday is a learning experience and a different challenge. But all in all, Alhamdullilah, she is coping well. Fyi and me jusy have to learn to watch what we say and how we act when we are in the presence of Adrianna. Insyaallah, as time goes by, she will learn and grow to be a smart and a well-behaved big sister.
