We live in a world where everyone matters, everything matters and in life, we would die pleasing everyone around us.

Last night, I attended a talk that made me realize what I was doing or rather pleasing was taking over. My ego was taking over me. Our goal in life is only to please the One. Him. Our creator, our god; Allah. Nothing else. When we seek refuge from him, we get what is promised for us hereafter, insyaallah.

Some of us, me for example, get too preoccupied with technology that it drives us away from what was more relevant to life. Everyone has a role to play, but our purpose is to seek for only one. And it has to live within us.

Why would we try hard and please others when the only one to please is Him alone?
