Outfit post. Geylang massacre
Good things comes to those who wait.
Today, I had filled my stomach with satisfaction. A round of Nasi Rawon, a traditional malay dish served with rice, black pepper-ish gravy with meat, fried tempeh, potato croquette, sambal cuttlefish, fried lung and belachan by the side. It was the most fulfilling meal. Sinar Pagi at Geylang food centre has the best and the queue was always long. But, it was worth the wait.
I am starting to love Geylang. Besides the fact that it is a little fetid and crowded, the food and the shopping can be quite endearing. There are authentic variation of Malay food, drinks and dessert and there are a lot of cheap finds for the modest. I never thought that this place, which is usually filled with aunties and uncles, is beginning to grow on me. I think I am growing up way faster than I thought.
