A little piece of heaven

I've always thought home decorating was easy. Little did I know that it was actually challenging. Interesting at some point, and frustrating on the other. 3 years ago, I moved into that phase and set up F and my own home. The day we got our keys was the best day ever. Excitement filled our hearts and we envisioned our abode to be peaceful and light with a little French, English feel. The renovation went smoothly and the turn out was better than expected. But the interior furniture was incomplete. We struggled through times arguing over and over about our humble abode and finally,we settled in for less. We bought and did what we needed slowly. It was a fun process along the way. And we learned, nothing could be done overnight. 

Some of us take months and years to get what really satisfies us in our home. But the home is a little piece of heaven on earth, why not decorate with passion so that we will come home daily with a fulfilled heart. 

And till today, although I was satisfied with my work before, I still look for inspirations in case if I ever  get a chance to re-do our house. 

For now, this is all I'm dreaming of. White spaces, Swedish furniture and exotic art will always remain special in my heart. 

To all couples settling in, it's not going to be easy, but Insyaallah you will get hold of it in a breeze. Remember to work around your budget and prioritize your needs. Your wants and wish list can wait. Simple tastes are always the best. Good luck!
