Singapore Fashion talk 2015

I have always envied fashion in many different ways. I love experimenting with different colors, materials and layers when it comes to fashion. I used to cut out magazine articles and drew sketches during my free time. I had the luxury of exploring seasonal fashion whilst travelling. I would put on faux cashmere and fur in winter, layered jackets and vests with knee high boots etc. My inspiration always comes in various mediums like in form of famous bloggers, books, websites and even on the streets. With the luxury of having to travel for work opens up my mind to see how different each city or country is with aspects to fashion. 

Two days ago, I attended an inspiring talk guest starring, the infamous Miroslava Duma and Dion Lee on how social media has affected the world of fashion. 

Mira duma has been one of my inspiration for years now. Her killer style definitely won me over through the years and I was honoured to be attending this talk.  

And of course, our good family friend , Miss Norfasarie helped us in getting us the opportunity to attend this.

The talk was aspirational and opens up my idea on how these amazing idols kicked off their careers in the fashion industry and challenges they faced till today. 

The world is constantly evolving and technology is getting more and more advanced, so is the industry. Everything we have today revolves around technology and the topic discussed were  so relevant to how much it has affected the world. 

Although it lasted for about an hour, I definitely brought back wise words of wisdom given by Mira duma and Dion Lee. I will definitely put this in mind and apply it everywhere I go.

 Even though my field of work has nothing related to fashion, the high-spirited advise given, is absolutely useful to my personal daily life. 

And yes, I bumped into the beautiful Ms Nadia Nasimuddin
