4 years and..

Having a companion for the rest of your life is not all easy. It just means that you are focusing on what is to come, together.

F and me are turning 4(since married) this year and 9 years of courtship together. It still makes me nervous whenever I think of me in his life. Of course, like any other couples, we do have our silly squabbles and difficult times. And today is one of those days where I feel I am falling short. I have to thank Allah s.w.t for letting me know F as a whole. His sense of perfection, his confidence level and his focused self. All of his strong points leads me to where I am now. 

In these times where I feel less like a wife, I bring myself to look at all our old photos. All I could see were smiles, those that were genuinely brought to life by the man who is standing by my side now and insyaallah till jannah. 

And as we strive to hold on to each other despite the many challenges that we are facing right now, I hope Allah s.w.t will continue to bless us with patience and strength to get through all our hardships together. Ameen
